Land grab by Rayden Engineering

The Google Earth pictures you see when you click the thumbnail image below show the layout before and after Rayden Engineering took possession of the triangular plot of land adjacent to their yard. The mature trees and shrubs visually shielded the adjacent householders from the unsightly engineering premises and also cushioned them from the effects of noise.

By taking over the land, Rayden Engineering extended their boundary to within three metres of their neighbours' rear gardens.

The next images show how the plot of land looked before the development took place and the 'tree' that was planted on the orders of the Traffic Commissioner and/or the planning department of Erewash Borough Council.
