We Name and Shame the Guilty Parties

21st Century Law - makers and breakers

Tough on crime; tough on the causes of crime?

How you view this toughness largely depends on how you interpret the word 'crime'.

If you are a pensioner who cannot afford to pay your extortionate council tax from your meagre pension, then you can be certain a cell awaits you. If you try to do the job that you believe the police should actually do, i.e. remonstrate with yobs, then you will find yourself on the wrong end of the law's arm. If you express opinions that are shared by the majority, i.e. your views on immigration, then you can be assured a magistrate somewhere is just dying to demonstrate how much power he has under our new politically-correct regime.

The on-street enforcers of these new laws are what we used to refer to as bobbies - the guys who spent their time rounding up villains and ensuring they did their porridge. Now, under the leadership of chief constables and senior officers with degrees in 'sociology', 'golf course management' and 'dwile flonking', our bobbies are concentrating all their efforts on people who dare to defy the government's ambition to control every intimate portion of our thoughts and lives. They are lurking around every corner waiting to hear words of dissent from genuinely caring people - people who don't like what they see happening to our country; people who think Britain was a far better place without the European Union, immigration, and New Labour.

So if you think murderers should be hanged, if you think life should mean life, if you think yobs should be birched in the town square, if you think illegal immigrants who make their living in the UK from the proceeds of crime should be chucked out with the words 'Deported from the UK' tattooed on their foreheads, then you should know that none of this will happen. The police will be too busy tracking you down to worry about sorting out problems that you, and millions like you, believe are turning Great Britain into Crap Britain.

Whilst you have such thoughts you are at great risk of falling foul of the law. And it will be no use protesting about your Human Rights. You don't have any! Such rights are accorded only to those you consider as scumbags - the ones who used to be known as criminals. In your case, a cell can easily be made available for you by granting early release to a murderer, thief or armed robber.

Tough on crime and the causes of crime? What a joke! All you can do to avoid the thought police is to go along with the government - or George Bush - and follow the party line. Let them dictate what your lifestyle should be and agree with them. If you see a real crime in progress, see nowt, hear nowt, say nowt.
